CleanQuik Filters
When minimising changeover times between filters is important
There are a few alternative filter formats when looking to prevent cross contamination between products such as inks and paints or when it is necessary to isolate potential contact between the product being filtered and the filter with operators or the environment. There are different approaches to solve these issues such a completely disposable plastic filter assemblies or filters are fitted into an assembly that then fits inside are st.st housing that is designed as a pressure vessel.
This type of filter format that allows a range of depth filters, polypropylene and nylon, or pleated depth filters, polypropylene, and glass fibre, are offered in this format. Filters are available in a range of absolute and nominal micron ratings to suit the specifics of the application. This leads to great flexibility for the user and options to find the most cost-effective solution for their application.
CleanQuik filter assemblies are available in 1, 3 or 7 cartridges arrangements, whereas disposable plastic assemblies are only normally limited in single cartridge formats. Obviously both formats can be offered as a filter train with 2 or 3 filters in series to optimise the batch size that can be processed.
Applications
Some examples where these formats find use in industrial manufacturing are lacquers, plastics, inks, paints, automotive paints, chemicals
